We are so pleased with all of the signatures in our guestbook! So many people took a lot of time to write multiple messages and get really creative! We enjoy looking at it and I’m sure will go through it often.

It has arrived! Our wedding day is today and we are so happy to be ready to celebrate the occasion with many of our friends and family. We will spend the day enjoying the company of the people that are closest to us and thinking of those that couldn’t be here.
Today we will marry our best friend and begin married life with a celebration tailored to our life and personality.
Thank you to everyone that is here with us and those that have helped us along the way to today, we’re so very happy!
Wow, it’s hard to believe that tomorrow is our wedding day! We are very excited to see everyone that is arriving today and celebrate some birthdays tonight while everyone gets to know each other during the reception. Hopefully everyone will get to bed early so they’re ready to party tomorrow night.
Make sure to pack your warm clothes for the ceremony and don’t forget your skates – the rink on the lake is looking good!
Just a brief reminder that we will be providing lunch on Saturday for those guests that are staying over at the resort on Friday night. We aren’t sure where we will have it set-up, but we will announce that on Friday night at the Welcome Reception. If you miss the announcement the front desk will be able to direct you to it on Friday morning.
Please keep in mind that there will not be a place to sit down to eat when you pick up your lunch. We ask that you just grab your meal (there will be plates and cutlery available) and return to your room to eat it.
We have had a few questions about the dress code for the Welcome Reception, which will be held in the basement of the main lodge in the Dragonfly Room, on Friday night. I know we have a few people who are excited to dress up for the occasion and a few who plan on being comfortable in their jeans for the evening. Mike and I plan to be dressed in business casual attire, but we are happy for our guests to wear whatever they will be comfortable in. There will be some dancing, but there will be a lot of mingling and socializing as well. Please remember to have indoor shoes with you if you are travelling from one of the exterior buildings to the main lodge.
While there won’t be dinner available at the resort Friday night we will have snacks and drinks for everyone, including wine, beer and spirits, at the reception. If there is something special you would like to drink feel free to bring it with you!
